breast cancer genetic testing question (2 posts)

My sister passed away from breast cancer in her 30s. I tested negative for the three founder mutations related to Ashkenazi Jewish ancestry. Is there any other genetic testing I should have done for breast-cancer susceptibility mutations?

My grandmother was diagnosed with breast cancer and luckily was a survivor. The cancer never effected my mother, but now my older sister is going through her first round of kimo to fight breast cancer. What founder mutations are you talking about? I am curious because maybe this effects my family and the statistics of us getting this type of cancer.
