tsquee Posted 12.07.09 | My daughter was diagnosed with a relatively rare skin disease called urticaria pigmentosa. Excessive mast cells create hives or lesions on the surface of the skin (and possibly on the surface of the internal organs as well). No one in the family has it nor has ever heard of it. I was told by the doctor who diagnosed her that everyone is ripe for this disease but something "sets it off" in the people who actually have it. Coincidentally, she had her first vaccination just prior to exhibiting any symptoms. Is it possible that her innoculation was the catalyst that caused this disease? |
