At birth the doctors said she had rickets but has been ruled out lately had fracture during the 11mos NICU stay was on oxygen. Blanks eyes, teeth came in greenish, Have several other fractures, CPS had custody but for the third time return the child to parent. Had been on Reglan up until 3-4mos ago which is on a Class Action Lawsuit right now. We have reports from an Orthopedic Specialist which was treating the child for OI but the state stop this Specialist from seeing the child. Three other sibling of this child normal and never been taken by CPS even when they took this Child. Thru some genetics that they took said they couldn't rule out OI. This child have rapid eye movement and other complication with eating never had EEG test done this child will be 3 01/10/2010 and has never been seen by and Neurologist until 12/10/2009. Even in the NICU summary discharge papers that we have show where baby had some seizure like activity but couldn't do EEG test because was on oscalator was cancel until winging of the vent never done. Please give us some of your expert advice. They want listen to us in the courtroom.

We recommend that your granddaughter is seen by a medical geneticist, a doctor who specializes in genetic conditions such as osteogenesis imperfecta. You can find a medical geneticist at the American College of Medical Genetics website or a clinic that specializes in OI at the OI Foundation website. You may be able to request having a medical geneticist or an OI specialist as an expert witness in the court. We wish you the best.
