can the sickle cell trait make a dna test wrong if the mother and father did not know about the child having a sickle cell trait

Not really sure of the question you are asking. About 1 in 8 African-Americans is a carrier of sickle cell disease (also known as having AS trait or sickle cell trait). With sickle cell disease, it is necessary to have two mutations, one from each parent, to be affected with the condition. People with only one mutation are carriers and typically do not have any symptoms of the disease, so they do not always know that they are a carrier.
