In fact, the article pointed out that "less than 5% of people diagnosed" with this disease actually survive past five years after diagnosis.Researchers results have allowed them to begin to reslove some of the mystery surrounding the disease and the ability to create new approaches to treat this disease. New doors have been opened to begin treating this disease in ways it never has been thought of before.
